UAA Advising pre-health team is offering a one-credit class
(Credit/No Credit) on applying to health professional school. This
course is intended for students applying this year to graduate-level
health professional
schools such as medical, dental, optometry, pharmacy, or veterinary
school.
We will cover the application process, including letters of
recommendation, centralized application services (AMCAS, AADSAS, etc.),
personal statements, choosing schools, and interviewing. Class time will
involve group work, guest speakers, and mini-lectures.
Limited to juniors and seniors Periods 1-3. Alumni are welcome to sit in.
Tuesday afternoons, 2:30-4:20. GEN ST 297 I, SLN: 14707, 95 students.
