Job with Crane Aerospace: Engineering Technician

Engineering Technician:


Key Responsibilities:

As a Technician you will build, test and/or troubleshoot products and prototypes under the direction of the responsible engineer. You will work from written and verbal instructions, engineering change notices, drawings and established operation procedures. You are responsible for the following:

o       Precise and accurate analysis and check-out of circuits, components, mechanical items, hardware and other items for form, fit, and function.
o       Set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. 
o       Programmable auto-testers, oscilloscopes, pulse generators, meters, power supplies and special test fixtures. 
o       Analysis and presentation of test data. 
o       Train and mentor other technicians.

Minimum Requirements:

o       1+ years related experience as an Engineering Technician. 
o       Associate’s Degree in a technical discipline (preferably electronics).
o       Hybrid and analog electronics background. 
o       Demonstrated experience documenting and organizing test data and lab notes. 
o       Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis. 
o       Ability to perform assembly tasks using hands as well as a variety of tools. 
o       Knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and Word. 
o       Ability to pass directed certifications.
