Application Engineer
We have been designing and building DC/DC converters, EMI filters, and special products since 1969. From the Mars Rovers to the Hubble Space Telescope, from submarines to fighter jets, our products have proven their ability to operate in the most demanding environments.
Our Engineers are among the very best in the industry. As an Applications Engineer you will work to maximize customer satisfaction by collaborating with the sales organization. You will evaluate customer requirements, specifications, and data in determining feasibility of company products. This position reports to the Director of Sales and the career path for this role is in Sales or Engineering. Customer satisfaction is the key to success and is the priority for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed analysis of electrical circuits.
  • Develop advanced understanding of power electronics.
  • Daily customer and sales team interaction.
  • Perform or direct technicians in advanced engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to determine cause and remedy for discovered issues.
  • Review product specifications with customers. 
  • Maintain orderly records, including log of customer calls, issues and solutions. Publish same log to Regional Sales on a regular basis. Maintain customer portal including log of data and information supplied to customers. 
  • Assist with Failure Analysis and sustaining engineering issues.
Minimum requirements/Technical Skills
  • BSEE required; MSEE is preferred. 
  • Proficient with Analog concepts.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Demonstrated customer focused mentality.
