Emerald BioSystems is a leading provider of sophisticated laboratory automation, software tools, protein crystallization matrices and consumable products for gene to protein crystal structure research; we manufacture liquid-handling robotics and protein crystallization reagents and supplies. We have an immediate opening for a Laboratory Robotics Software Developer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Improvements to legacy robotics hardware control software
• Development of new robotics software
• Authorship of software documentation/users guide
The successful candidate should posses the following skills/experiences or equivalents:
• C++, C #, Visual Basic, SQL procedure calls, ADO.net, Windows Presentation Foundation (GUI)
• Hardware control, API, Unit/Integration testing
• Liquid-handling robotics experience a plus
• Related degree is required
• Strong customer service skills
• Detail oriented, organized and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work in a highly technical and fast paced development environment
