Capstone funding is available for undergrad teams!
The Engineering Capstone Design Award was created to support student
organizations (teams), across the College of Engineering, working on
capstone design projects. Funding for this award is made possible
through private support by alumni and friends of the College of
Engineering. The funding (up to $3,000/team) can be used for the
purchase of supplies/materials, equipment, travel, or training
relevant to capstone projects.
Please pass this along to undergraduate students currently working on
team capstone projects. The deadline to apply is March 9, 2012 at
midnight. Students will be notified (either way) by April 13, 2012.

Now is your opportunity to be a summer intern in Boeing, a cutting edge global aerospace company. Boeing is not only the leader in commercial airplanes but is also a leader in defense, space and security systems. The current 737, 747, 767 and 777 jetliners, the new 787 Dreamliner; the F/A-18 Super Hornet and the F-15 Strike Eagle fighters; the Apache, Chinook and V22 Osprey rotorcraft; the C-17 Globemaster transport; the Space Shuttle, the International Space Station, satellite space systems; these are all Boeing products. Summer interns will work on these and related types of products and supporting technology to develop technical and leadership skills and to experience a challenging introduction to engineering careers within the Boeing Company while having hands on experience.
