Now is your opportunity to be a summer intern in Boeing, a cutting edge global aerospace company. The current 737, 747, 767 and 777 jetliners, the new 787 Dreamliner; the F/A-18 Super Hornet and the F-15 Strike Eagle fighters; the Apache, Chinook and V22 Osprey rotorcraft; the C-17 Globemaster transport; the Space Shuttle, the International Space Station, satellite space systems; these are all Boeing products. Summer interns will work on these and related types of products and supporting technology to develop technical and leadership skills and to experience a challenging introduction to engineering careers within the Boeing Company while having hands on experience. This requisition is for an Electrical/Electronic Parts, Materials and Processes internship in Boeing Research & Technology (BR&T). BR&T is a research and technology organization that supplies new technology to current and future Boeing programs. Projects in this organization include the selection of tools, materials and processes used in the fabrication of electrical/electronic boxes and cable harness assemblies, process development for microelectronic assemblies, reduction of hazardous materials while maintaining high reliability and process improvement initiatives. This is a terrific environment for someone working on a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Bachelor of Science degree and wants to gain experience in industry in supporting commercial and military programs. At least one opportunity will be in support of the Electrical Services Responsibility Center that manufactures aircraft wire harness assemblies in Everett.
