The Windows Server team is comprised of a broad set of technologies including PowerShell, WS-Management, WMI, BITS, WSUS, Group Policy, Server Manager, Windows Roles Deployment and others, and we currently have openings in several areas. These technologies are focused on lowering the cost of managing the Windows environment in public and private clouds. Since the release of Windows 7 and Server R2, we have shipped key components of a common management platform on which developers can build manageable applications and services which enable IT Pros and Data Center Hosters to automate and manage their environments. But there is much more work still to be done on current and future versions of Windows.

We are looking for strong Software Development Engineers in Test, fluent in C# with a lot of passion for resolving complex problems. This is a unique opportunity to join a mature group in the infancy of building exciting new technologies for the future which have the potential to make a huge contribution for the company and its customers.

Primary responsibilities include feature design and planning, engaging with customers and partners, creating test strategies, applying programming skills to implement create a fully automated testing environment and coordinating deliverables with peers, cross-groups, and cross-disciplines.

Qualifications:
- C# development experience.
- Understanding of diverse testing methodologies (fuzz testing, pairwise testing, unit testing).
- Passion for delivering our features to an unprecedented level of quality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Ability to balance multiple tasks and work efficiently in an agile environment.
- A BS in Computer Science or related field is required.
