Mobile Phone Software Intern at Elektrobit - full-time; fall, winter
This person will be a member of an R&D team responsible for software development on the Android OS. This position also will a member of the test team responsible for executing test plans and implementing test strategies in the laboratory environment. This person will work well in a small team environment, communicating effectively with teammates as well as team leads.
Main Responsibility Areas:
- Software driver and kernel code development
- Testing mobile phone devices and software based on test specifications and reporting test results.
- Detecting bugs and filing bug reports.
- Troubleshooting failures, including code review and analysis
- Verifying bug fixes and new features.
- Identifying new test methods and test cases
- Working closely with R&D team to provide feedback on device design and functionality
- Supporting other team members with test tasks.

C++ Software Engineering/BSCS at Elektrobit - full-time; 6 months
EB (www.elektrobit.com) currently has a Software Engineering Internship to be a part of its automotive software business in the USA. This position is located in Bothell, WA.

Software Engineering Internship - Qualcomm - full-time; starts in fall
QUALCOMM has multiple software engineering internships available. As a software engineering intern, you will work with a team of software engineers to develop, implement and maintain software for the most complex wireless devices. With a degree in computer science or engineering, you may analyze and identify system-level integration issues, plan and integrate new features, define integration and test platforms, develop and execute test scenarios for various multimedia applications such as audio, video, speech, imaging and graphics applications. You may also design and develop embedded, real-time systems along with wireless data protocols, applications engineering and technical support. Finally, you may also develop programs and user interfaces for BREW, our proprietary development language for mobile devices.
