The purpose of this course is to offer graduate school applicants the opportunity to refresh content knowledge, build strategy skills, and gain confidence in preparation for the GRE. As a class, we will get to know the structure and content of the exam and review the necessary verbal, mathematical, and analytical skills. This course will include a large volume of practice problems, specific outlined study approaches to each section, and the development of effective timing and answering strategies. Some out-of-class work will be expected of students who are committed to success.

BASIC MATH REFRESHER
Thursdays, January 20 and 27, 6:00 8:00pm
Instructor: Elisabeth Heftel
$65
The Math Refresher course is a 2-week review of Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, and basic Trigonometry. This is the perfect opportunity for students preparing for the GRE or GMAT to start at the basics of mathematics and work up to the highest levels of math that will be seen on the exams. This course is entirely content-based, a perfect complement to the more strategy-based GRE course. Our classes will incorporate significant visual examples to make the mathematical concepts as clear as possible. Asking questions is encouraged!
