UW Environmental Innovation Practicum - Register now for fall quarter!

Innovation in Cleantech + Market Opportunity = Solutions for the Planet

Unique interdisciplinary course designed for both graduate and undergraduate students focuses on what it takes to develop innovative cleantech solutions to our most pressing environmental challenges. Weekly speakers include top national, international and local experts in natural sciences, engineering, social sciences, business, policy and law. Topics include alternative energy and energy efficiencies, green building, and transportation. Students will form teams, identify an environmental problem and possible opportunity to solve it. Interested teams are invited to enter the Spring UW Environmental Innovation Challenge.

CHEM E 599 / NME 498 (3 credits) Molecular Engineering and Science

Peace Corps Info Session - Apply by July 1 to Work Abroad in Summer 2012

EcoCAR 2 recruitment

The UW is one of 6 new colleges accepted into EcoCAR 2: Plugging Into the Future.

We’re looking for EE’s to participate in this collegiate level international design competition, next in a series of Advanced Vehicle Technology Competitions (AVTCs) run by General Motors and the US Department of Energy.
The program will follow the same Vehicle Development Process (VDP) that GM follows during the development of their vehicles, and is thus highly representative of real-world engineering and business positions.
