STUDENT TEAMS WANTED! 2014 ASME ISHOW sponsored by the ASME Foundation

Dear Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers,

As this semester wraps and the next begins, ASME is calling all young leaders for the 2014 Innovation Show (IShow)  Please pass the following information on to your top students to continue projects from this semester! Teams are asked to pitch their product to a panel of innovators and industry experts and vie for prizes totaling $50k.

The IShow provides students a platform to showcase their creative innovations and engineering talent. We are searching for student teams with disruptive products aimed at solving global problems.

Past innovations have included a wireless device to monitor home utility usage; an organic, green insulation material for consumer use; a low-cost solar water filtration and heater system for developing communities; and cost-effective medical robots.

Applications will be accepted through January 31st, 2014
