EE student needed for energy efficiency - web design project (EE 499)

We have a small project with the UW Center for Commercialization dedicated to the design of high voltage air filtration units, which would clean air more efficiently and also would be more energy-efficient than existing technology. There is a team of several folks, each working on their respective tasks. At this point, we would like to add one person to the team, an undergraduate electrical engineering student, whose task would be to develop a website presenting the technology. The student needs to have some experience in web design (not web programming, simple design), interest in energy efficiency, interest in technology start-ups, some artistic flair, good command of English language, ability to attend weekly meetings, enthusiasm, and time to spend on this project. The student project would start at the beginning of winter quarter. This is not a paid project, it is for credit [EE 499]. Other team members are not paid either. There is some funding, but it is all spend on parts, design, software, and experiments. Project duration can be one quarter, but, hopefully longer, as the project evolves. Once the website is finished, the student would participate in development of technical and business materials for this project.

If interested, please send me your resume, unofficial transcript, and a cover letter (email) reflecting directly on my post: mamishev@uw.edu.
