2014 Summer Undergraduate Projects in Engineering Research Program

Gain useful experience in a professional setting while contributing towards the adva ncement of science.

The Earth Observing Laboratory (EOL) of the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) hires undergraduate engineering interns with an interest in the atmospheric sciences during the summer months for the Summer Undergraduate Program in Engineering Research (SUPER). SUPER interns work hands-on with NCAR/EOL engineers on atmospheric observing systems and developments, including radar, lidar, and sounding systems and associated software developments. Interns may spend part of the summer participating in a field deployment, operating and supporting one or more EOL observing systems.

EOL provides an hourly wage, travel support to and from Boulder, housing support if needed, and expenses in the field.
