Washington State Opportunity Scholarship (WSOS).
The scholarship helps low- and middle-income Washington State residents
earn first bachelor's degrees in science, technology, engineering,
mathematics (STEM) and health care. The application period is Jan. 7,
2013, through Feb. 18, 2013. They will start notifying people about
decisions on May 1, 2013.
They are looking for students who are traditionally underrepresented in
STEM fields (students of color, first generation students, females, and
low-income students) so all of you are in their target audience. The
WSOS Board has increased the annual amount juniors and seniors will
receive from $1,000 to $5,000.
