Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth

Johns Hopkins University is looking for engineering students who may be interested in working for our summer programs as an instructor or teaching assistant for one of our engineering courses, offered through the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth (CTY). (Graduate students typically serve as instructors and undergraduate students serve as teaching assistants)

CTY provides educational summer programs to academically talented students in grades 7 through 10. Our open positions are listed below. Since our programs are residential for students and staff, in addition to salary we also provide room and board. The salary for the instructor position is $2100-$3000 per session based on experience, and the salary for the teaching assistant position is $1100 per session. The employment dates are June 23 - ­ July 16 and July 16 -­ August 6. Staff can work one or both sessions.
