Underwater Robotics Team at UW is Fundraising for Summer Competition

As an undergraduate in EE I am trying to spread awareness of our team to both faculty and students interested in the field of robotics. The team is always looking for more EE students and we hope this year's competition will get more UW students excited about robotics and engineering design. It is a fantastic extension of classroom learning and engineering principles, making it a resume booster for those seeking experience. Please feel free to forward this email to whoever may be interested to help spread awareness of our program.

The Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicles (UWROV) team at the University of Washington is a multidisciplinary team of students from engineering and scientific backgrounds who come together to design, build, and drive remotely operate operated vehicles (ROVs), which are used in ocean research and industry. We recently launched a campaign through USEED in order to help get the word out about what we do and to help raise funds to attend this summer's International MATE Competition (marinetech.org) in Newfoundland, Canada. We're really excited about our project and would like to share what we're working on with you, so please check us out at:
