SPEP Student Volunteer Opportunities
My name is Jaime Jamison and I manage the Student Philanthropy Education Program (SPEP) at the UW Foundation. I am seeking current students who are active, social, and love the UW to serve on the 2012-2013 SPEP council.
SPEP is comprised of a group of highly driven, current UW students who are dedicated to helping better their university. Members of the council are asked to devote a few hours every month to attend meetings and staff events for a commitment period of an entire academic year starting in August. Over the year, SPEP works with the Annual Giving staff to develop and carry out marketing campaigns and events aimed at educating the student population about the importance of philanthropy and alumni support at the UW.
If you are interested, please read the SPEP council description, fill out the SPEP application, and return it to jaimej3@uw.edu. The application can be found on our website at www.washington.edu/giving/real-dawgs-give-back.
The deadline for the applications is June 22, 2012.
