Now that summer has arrived, it’s about time
to start thinking about next school year, right? Wohoo! With the imminent season
of homework and midterms also comes a new set of IEEE/HKN officers. That’s what
this is about. IEEE/HKN at UW is an RSO focused on bringing EE students
together and introducing them to and strengthening their relationships with
industry. This year, we’re focusing on engaging the EE community by composing
venues around getting to know each other and broadening our rapport with
industry. I’d like to encourage you to consider joining us as an officer this
coming school year, as you will get to shape the EE student experience at this
university. We have meetings once a week, and there is some amount of time
commitment outside of that, but you will find the experience to be incredibly
rewarding.

the Catalyst survey, complete with the available officer positions and
their descriptions. Submit your response for which position(s) you are most
interested in, and give a brief explanation of why you’re interested (one
overarching explanation is acceptable). If you submit a response, we will
contact you later with further details. The deadline for submitting a response
is July 7th.
