Track inventory of chemicals, cleanroom and lab supplies. Order supplies
when stock is low, with sufficient lead time to avoid interruption of lab
operations. Track suppliers for all supplies, locating suitable alternate
vendors when necessary. Maintain point-of-use lab supplies at supply
stations in lab, and maintain chemicals in chemical storage cabinets,
replenishing from laboratory storage areas as necessary. Maintain
cleanroom consumable supplies (gloves, face masks, etc) in gowning room,
replenishing from storage room as necessary. Manage cleanroom garment
supplies, packaging outgoing garments for laundry and un-packaging clean
garments upon return. Maintain laboratory copies of MSDS documentation in
organized notebooks. Refill liquid nitrogen dewars from central filling
station.
Requirements
- Ability to work safely with chemicals and crygenic liquids
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 70 lbs
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Careful, detailed record-keeping
