Richmond Engineering is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer
with a minimum of 10 years experience in building construction,
lighting, and power distribution. Ideal candidate should be ready to
manage a project from conceptual design through construction.
Responsibilities will include supervising small design team and
servicing own customer base. Must be able to coordinate with mechanical
engineering division. A successful candidate will be responsible for
profit, production, and schedule deadlines. Washington State PE stamp is
mandatory. Position is with Richmond Engineering, the consulting
engineering group of RSI, located in Olympia, WA. Salary DOQ. If you

UW EE - Alternatives Info Session on July 30th!
On July 30th UW EE advisors are welcoming university representatives from WSU - Pullman and Vancouver, Eastern Washington University's satellite campus at NSCC, UW-Bothell, Seattle University and Seattle Pacific University to speak with you about their EE programs. EE alternatives and strategies for admissions to other local EE programs will be presented and you will have time to meet with these representatives for additional information and advising after the main info session. This is a great opportunity for you to learn about other EE programs in Washington - and potentially be admitted to an EE program for autumn 2012!
We first offered this info session in February - after spring quarter admissions this year - and had a great turn-out; Students commented they were very happy they came to the session, and followed up and were admitted to area EE programs.
This info session will cover:
*What alternatives/strategies are available to you?
*Which accredited EE programs in this area are accepting applications now or in the near future?
*Important resources at the UW for potential majors.
Time: 3:30-5:30pm

We are studying people's role in online communities. We are looking for subjects to participate in our study. You may be asked to answer a questionnaire about you and your friends. You will be asked to provide your email address to be included in a lottery drawing for 10 $50 gift cards. The study will take approximately 10 minutes.

Student Assistant Position (Work-Study) with Engineering Co-op Office
Seeking a
current UW student who has Work Study as part of their financial aid package to
work as a Student Assistant in our busy and fun office.
DUTIES
& RESPONSIBILITIES

Create weekly flyers and post in engineering buildings
·
Track and document student assignment
submissions
·
Create weekly communications with students about
employment opportunities
·
Respond to student email requests for
appointments
·
Instruct students on process required for
initial appointments
·
Follow current protocols and recommend
improvements
·
Assist with special events and assist Program staff
as required
HOURS
10-11 hours per week during 10 weeks
each quarter (Autumn-Spring)
Work hours can be flexible based on
academic schedule.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:
