EE Professional Master's Program Info Session - 5/2
Whether you're already working as a bachelor's level electrical engineer or want to break into a new field, the UW Professional Master's Program (PMP) may be for you. The Electrical Engineering PMP offers a work-compatible Master's degree in electrical engineering and courses taught by UW Seattle's world class Electrical Engineering faculty. Our faculty's cutting edge research informs their teaching, allowing you to bring the latest ideas to bear in your career. The program typically takes 3 years to complete, with students taking one class per quarter in the evening as well as a 1-credit quarterly seminar. The PMP leads to the same degree offered through the daytime program - the MSEE.

Student Position Available in First Year Programs
First Year Programs is currently seeking applicants for the position of Student Coordinator. The Student Coordinator in the Office of First Year Programs (FYP) functions administratively and programmatically in support of all transitional programs for which the office is responsible. These programs include Advising and Orientation, Parent Orientation, Freshman Interest Groups, Transfer Interest Groups, Dawg Daze, Outdoor Adventures and Husky Adventures. This is a position of significant responsibility, open to all currently registered UW undergraduate students, who are available to work in a year-round capacity.

PolyU Innovation & Entrepreneurship Global Student Challenge (GSC) 2013 - now open for registration
Organised by PolyU, GSC is a global business plan competition for secondary and university students. Over 370 teams from 29 countries have taken part in this Challenge since its inception in 2010. In 2010, the Gold Award of the University Division went to Johns Hopkins University, USA and in 2011, to Purdue University, USA respectively.
A total of 30 teams in the University Division will be shortlisted and sponsored for their flights to/from Hong Kong and will be offered accommodation at PolyU Student Halls of Residence. Apart from representing your school/institution in this global Challenge at the Semi-Final/Final rounds, an array of tailored activities and cultural immersion programmes will be arranged for the teams during their stay in Hong Kong.

Researchers at the University of Washington are performing a study on survey data quality assurance using mobile phones.

- Are willing to have the study software on your phone.
- Attend a training session in the lab.
- Conduct a short survey on 10 university students over the course of the week following the training session.
