Dear EE Students:
The HKN/IEEE Fall BBQ is coming up on Friday, Oct 25th in Sylvan Grove! We need your help to make it happen!
We will need volunteers to help with setup, cooking, ID check,
games, cleaning up etc. If you are willing to volunteer, please send
our officer Siyu Jiang (jsy1218@uw.edu) an email which includes the following information as soon as possible:
- Name
- Phone number
- Time available between 2pm to 8pm on Oct. 25th
- Whether you have a Washington state food worker card, or are willing to get one - and will volunteer to cook.
The shifts will be maximum of one hour, between 2pm - 8pm. The event is going to start at 4pm and end at around 7pm.
Note: that you will need a food
worker card to work with food. You can obtain a food worker card easily
by taking a short online seminar from the King County Health Dept. website.
(We will reimburse your for the $10 fee required for the food worker
permit - and it's valid for two years.) If you are interested in this
option, we'll provide you with more details and instructions.
