Participate in a 10-week Product Management Internship Program in Leviton Network Solutions (NS) Business Unit. Learn and develop professional product management skills including participating in new product development, competitive analysis and pricing, trend analysis/internal reporting, and product life cycle tasks.
Leviton Network Solutions is focused on the structured cabling/telecommunications industry. Vertical markets include Data Center, Education, Healthcare, and Government. The successful candidate will participate in both formal and on-the-job training. He/she will be expected to perform various sustaining activities (quality, life cycle management) as well as support new product development and launch activities.
Responsibilities:
· Assist with developing competitive landscapes
· Competitive pricing analysis
· Development of content for marketing collateral
· Assist in Sales and customer training activities
· Update/maintain marketing collateral
· Provide additional PM support to the sales force on an as-needed basis
· This position will be based in Bothell, WA but may require travel throughout the greater Seattle area.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be in the process of pursuing a 4-year marketing, engineering ( or other technical degree) and/or actively pursuing an MBA or MS in Marketing
- Must be proficient using Microsoft Office products including Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook
- Must possess outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Strong academic performance
- Demonstrated leadership roles in and out of school
