Description:
Looking for a full time lead developer and coders to step in and help build a product from the ground up and take a long term role. Familiarity with Shopify/e-commerce/social networking is highly preferred.
• Report directly to COO/CTO and may be expected to recruit/manage the tech team (if hired as CTO)
• High visibility with industry leaders including company CEOs and pro athletes
• Compensation of equity/cash (tbd upon negotiation)
Business & Functionality:
• Soletron is a blog, e-commerce and social networking platform where independent designers, retailers and collectors come to buy, sell and discuss
their styles
• Auction-based functionality, social networking and sharing
Highlights:
• Over 15K visits to the site in first few days of blog launch, without advertising campaign in place
• Established relationships with ~400 premium vendors who will be selling on the site
• Advisory Board with two former public company CEOs, a VC company founder and Super Bowl MVP
• Founders with successful track records in retail, investment banking and as investment professionals in the venture capital/private equity industry
• CEO is prior owner/founder of a well-known specialty retail boutique operating in our target industry
• Opportunity to take ownership in the creation of a very exciting company from the ground up
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Experience with Shopify or other related platforms (Magento, Big Commerce, etc.)
• Should be able to present prior completed work/URL
• Honesty, integrity and good communication skills a must

• Ruby on Rails, PHP programming / OOP / LAMP, Zend, Symfony, CakePHP, XML, JSON, CVS, SVN, AJAX, Adobe Flex / AIR / ActiveScript, JavaScript, Network Administration/Security/Configuration, pache web server, Email (Sendmail, Postfix,Qmail), DNS-BIND servers, WAP, High Availability / Cluster systems, XWindow, Linux/Windows/Unix operating systems, Web Services (SOAP, RPC, RSS, JSON), cloud computing
