Start the new school year out right!!
Come to Husky Toastmasters’ Open House to learn how
to improve your public speaking skills as well as how to work giving
and receiving effective feedback. Toastmasters’ is an inexpensive and
fun way to work on the very skills that will
help you succeed in the classroom. The Open House will feature an
experienced Toastmaster, Bruce Meaker, leading a workshop on effectively
evaluating (and being evaluated by) your peers. There will be plenty
of Toastmasters on hand to tell you all about
the Toastmasters’ communication program and how it can help you in your
academic career and beyond. Husky Toastmasters will provide
complimentary food and drinks. Staff and community members are welcome
as well!
