If
you are a student interested in learning more about the ethical
aspects of business and ethical decision making on a personal level, take a look at MGMT 323 offered
this Spring, taught by Matt Eliseo, a PhD student. MGMT 323, Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility, is
not offered often, but students enjoy it when it is.
The objective of MGMT 323 is to dramatically increase the student’s ability to manage the ethical
aspects of business. In the course, each student will develop skills necessary to analyze and
address ethical issues, to provide ethical leadership within and for the organization, and to
conduct business responsibly.
aspects of business. In the course, each student will develop skills necessary to analyze and
address ethical issues, to provide ethical leadership within and for the organization, and to

The
course is modeled after the MBA ethics course and involves reading
articles each week and being present for active class discussions. It
does not have the typical test/term
paper format as other business classes. Last year's class involved
studying some films on the Enron scandal, the Housing crisis of 2008 and
Sustainability issues.
The course is offered Spring
2015, T/TH 10:30-12:20, SLN 16703, and is open to non business majors starting Period 2.
I have attached his draft copy of the Syllabus for your reference.
