*Using Databases to Find Funding*
This workshop will discuss the different funding databases/resources
available to UW students. It will overview some of the main ones for the
Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences, International Students and
International Study, Women and Minorities, Disabled, Veterans, and
Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgendered. The workshop will also devote time to
two large grant databases, GrantSelect and Community of Science (it's not
just for Science), and attendees will have the opportunity to get hands-on
experience using COS. Tips for searching databases will also be covered.
