What if you could ... design a neural engineering educational demo that's been used by thousands of people across the country and featured on BBC's "Click"?
What if you could ... win a neural engineering tech design competition that sets you on a course to create a start up company?
This could be your story, with a different ending, if you join us for the Second Annual Center for Sensorimotor Neural Engineering (CSNE) Hackathon.
What is the CSNE Hackathon?
The CSNE Hackathon is a weekend-long event where teams of students work together to apply principles of sensorimotor neural engineering to create novel technology on an accelerated time scale.
Each team will be provided with an array of technologies and their own PC to work on the project. At the conclusion of the Hackathon, teams will present their project prototypes to a panel of judges and members of the CSNE community.
Who can attend the Hackathon?
We want students from each CSNE institution to participate in the Hackathon. If you've received this e-mail, you are eligible to apply!
Airfare, hotel, and food will be provided. This is a great opportunity to meet other CSNE students and learn new skills, all while hacking together new devices.
When and where?
The Hackathon will take place at the CSNE headquarters on the University of Washington campus in Seattle.
Participants will arrive in the early afternoon on Friday, November 6th, and leave late morning on Monday, November 9th.
Apply here!
Applications are due Friday, September 25th.
