Jun Ong’s first trip abroad was at 19, making
the 24-hour flight from her native home Malaysia to Seattle for her freshman
year at the UW. She went on to earn her BA in Economics at UW, lead the Seattle
chapter of the student non-profit AIESEC, and traveled to, and worked in, 9
countries throughout her time in college. Today, Jun can be found writing code
at Porch.com, rock-climbing at the Seattle Bouldering Project, and mentoring
students on college and career decisions.
