Undergrad research opening in Integrated Quantum Optoelectronics Lab

The Integrated Quantum Optoelectronics (IQO) Lab is looking for bright and highly motivated undergraduate research assistants to aid in our research in nanophotonics. Undergraduate researchers will be responsible for helping our graduate students to fabricate and simulate nanodevices for bleeding edge technology such as computational metasurfaces and ultralow power optical devices. Undergraduates who work with the IQO Lab will gain valuable experience working in a lab setting, particularly with working with 2D materials and using industry standard software such as Lumerical FDTD, and Lightfield. Undergraduates who demonstrate ample ability and dedication will have the opportunity to earn credit for working in the lab. There is also the potential for undergraduate research assistants to become paid members of the research team. If you are interested in applying to work in our lab please contact Arka at arka@uw.edu with your CV and transcript.
