The first meeting of the Game Development Club is this Wednesday and we'd love to have new members join us!
This quarter, we'll be learning how to use the Unity game engine by creating an Asteroids like game. At each meeting we'll be covering how to complete a specific aspect of the game, such as implementing player movement or making a user interface.

Everyone
is welcome! No programming experience is needed to get the general gist
of how things work. We will be doing plenty of programming in C# though
(which is very similar to Java), so if you do know programming this
would be a great place to apply it.
We meet
every Wednesday from 4:30 to 5:20 PM at CSE 203. Our very first meeting
will be this Wednesday (Oct. 1) in which we'll be going over the game
project in more depth as well as starting to learn the basics of Unity!
If you can't make it or you want to check out what we're doing in future meetings, come check out our website at gamedev.cs.washington.edu.
