Annual Celebrating UW Women event. Created to honor women from across
campus as part of Women’s History Month,
Celebrating UW Women recognizes the contributions of women at the UW.
All women nominated will be recognized and featured on our website and
at an honorary reception on
March 20, 2014 in Alder Commons.
Submit nominations via our website: http://hfs.washington.edu/UWWomen or email mprimley@uw.edu. Nominations should include the name and contact information for the nominee and nominator, a short essay (250 words) describing the contributions of the nominee, and if possible a photo of the nominee. Nominations are due Friday, March 14, 2014. You may submit multiple nominations, and past years’ nominees can be nominated again. Please help us make this year the event’s biggest yet – we know that UW women are making amazing contributions across campus, and we hope you’ll help us honor them!
