Happy Spring Quarter!

Have you been looking for that perfect career position, summer job or internship opportunity? We have great news for you! The Career Center’s annual Spring Career Fair will bring more than 140 employers to the Seattle campus to recruit and to hire talented UW students and alumni just like you!

Registered employers will be looking to fill jobs and internships in a wide range of industries, including corporate, small business, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. Please check out the list of attending employers http://careers.uw.edu/Students/Spring-Career-Fair#Employers, and make sure to research those employers you’re interested in meeting with by visiting their web sites and doing a quick review of them online and in trade magazines.

**Which workshops will help prepare me for the fair? **

We want you to impress your potential employer (s) at the Spring Career Fair with your perfect resume. Join us at the ResumeFest on April 15th! This event is prepared just for you to get your resume reviewed by our Career Center counselors or Peer Advisors for 15 minutes. Come early, as it’s on a first come first served basis, and sign up starts in the Career Center at 8:00am.

WHAT TO BRING:  A hard copy of your resume

SIGHN UP: Sign up in the Career Center at 8:00am. First come first serve basis.

**How else can I get hiring employers to notice me?**

Submit your resume to the Internship Fair Resume Book – access to the book has been purchased by more than 30 employers who will be searching through it to identify candidates for internship position at their company.  Can’t make the fair? No problem.  Submit your resume anyway! Attending the fair?  Increase your visibility to hiring employers by following-up a submission to this book with a face-to-face interaction with your target companies at the fair.
