Software Internship Description
Screenplay Labs is creating a new international distribution and conditional access network to distribute entertainment content to localized cable and IPTV operators around the globe. We are looking for energetic, motivated team members that can contribute their language and engineering skills to help us succeed in this fast paced industry.
Internship: Chinese Localization Software Developer
This position is 3 month full time internship starting in June.
Responsibilities
Our new team member would be responsible for localizing technical documents, UML and Function diagrams and other deliverables to our partners in Beijing, including translation during conference calls and meetings. While helping us communicate and collaborate using an agile SDLC, this team member would also assist as a junior developer, investigating and implement solutions using Screenplay Labs C2ME platform for Roku, social network sites like Facebook, and distribution partners like RCDb.
This position will work hand in hand with rest of the team, localizing our solution for the Chinese entertainment market.
Required Skills
- Familiarity with one of the following; Python, Java, C#
- Good understanding of web technologies, Object Oriented design
- Ability to read, write and speak Chinese (Mandarin).
- Willingness to tackle challenges and learn new things
