Web Development (Ruby on Rails) Intern
Jobfully is offering two new and exciting Web Development (Ruby on Rails) Intern positions. We are looking for fun, driven, smart, and savvy interns to be part of our team. Our business focuses on helping job seekers in today’s tough market. You will gain valuable real-world experience in working on an application using up-to-date tools, as well as be immersed in the best practices in job searching.

You will be mentored by experienced industry leaders and gain hands-on, in-the-trench experience during an exciting and critical phrase at a growing startup.
Description
Our Web Development Interns will assist in maintaining and enhancing Jobfully’s web product. Responsibilities will include:
• Working with leadership to create and manage a Public Relations Plan.
• Participating in all phases of development:
o Collaborate to define requirements and specifications
o Design technical solutions
o Rapidly prototype
o Build
o Code reviews
o Test
o Launch
o Measure the effectiveness of solutions.
• Finding and fixing bugs in our software based on support questions and/or testing.
• Continuously improving user experience

What we expect:
• You’re a motivated self starter, eager to tackle a new area.
• You love learning and reporting back on what you learn.
• You have experience in
o Ruby on Rails
o Linux/Unix
o Web development in general: HTML, JavaScript, CSS
o Testing (TDD/BDD)
o Version control, preferably Git (we use GitHub)
o Design skills would be a bonus
• You’re hands on, take ownership and are willing to implement plans.
• You’re a quick learner and open-minded individual.
• You adapt and change quickly in a tech startup business environment.
• You’re curious and un-afraid of challenges.
